Union branches can back '68 is too late'
A dozen national unions already support the '68 is too late' pension age campaign.
But we are keen for local union branches to vote to back the initiative too.
The first two to tell us they had done it were both branches of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) - the Public Relations and Communications branch, and the London Magazine branch.
They were closely followed by the the Brighton and Hove branch of the National Union of Teachers; and the Land Registry Computer Services branch of the Public and Commercial Services union.
We hope branches who support the campaign will distribute information to their members.
You can pass a simple resolution like: "This branch agrees to support the '68 is to late' campaign".
If your union is affiliated to the Labour Party have a look at the model resolution drawn up by the Labour Representation Committee. It can also be amended for use in other organisations.
